Started work on an archon for a friend of mine tonight. Still a ways to go, but here's a mediocre cell phone pic.



I am most of the way through the whole project. I've been trying to expand my artistic horizons with this army, limiting my color pallete to about 4 primary colors plus an accent color and metallics. I've tried to keep things varied within the army (the archon is the only one who will be all bone for example). I'll try to keep this plot updated as I go.

it would be easier if the background wasnt the same color if you could take another pic with a white background it would be most pleasing!

The light still isn't brilliant in here, but it is a better picture. I'll see if I can't get some better ones later.

Thats better, we're going in the right direction
My first question is as usual: do you thin your paint or do you use it straight from the pot? Thinning my paint was what helped me a lot so i see it as a good first step to ask about it.
