    Default 1250 of Ogres

Hey all, this is my 1250 of completed ogres.
    Slaughtermaster (custom)
Bruiser on a Carpet (could be a tyrant! This made the GW FB page!)
    Giant
    Battle Standard Bearer
    12man Ogrestar

I will see if I can get my better camera up a running to keep up with progress!

Like the slaughtermaster is that just a normal ogre with a greenstuff apron?

It is. I think the butcher/slaughtermaster model is terrible.
I also replaced his hand with a rusty cleaver. See the better picture.

really love the carpet with the fluffy clouds.

I may have to steal that idea for some tomb king love.

in my experience huge ogreunits are rarely good as they are just as boned as a smaller unit when it gets charged. Granted you get one mean load of impact hits but heavy cavalry is going to bend you over!

I dunno, in the last edition you had to spam MSU and Gut Magic out the wazooo, now it seems there is every reason to run an Ogrestar. Barring a well placed-non-dispelled Purple Sun of Xerses, doesn't seem to fear too much, espeically if you load up a BSB and Slaughtermaster in there.
The real question is the load out.
Do you get fists with them? Extra weapons? Bare? Or just pony up for Ironguts?

Got a better picture with a better camera of one of my finished guys (except his eyes).
I have finally named my Tribe: Rusty Guts.
