    Trying to make CSM viable at 2000 points, and this is what I was thinking:

    HQ

    - Kharn The Betrayer(165)

    Elite

    - Chosen Chaos Space Marines (160)
    + 3 chosen chaos space marines
    + 2 chosens chaos space marines with meltaguns

    + Rhino with dozer blade, combi-plasma

    - Chosen Chaos Space Marines (160)

    + 2 chosens chaos space marines with meltaguns

    I'd say thats a pretty lean and efficient spikey marine list.

    I have one question, what does kharn do for you in this build? you aren't really going for assault. If your squads get assaulted, I assume you'd rather have them wiped out so you can shoot again next turn.

    I'm not saying hes not good in the list, just curious how you plan to use him.

    Kharn is there to be used as nothing but a minor distraction. Put simply, he's a sacrificial character whenever I need him to be (of course I would put him in a squad at the start of the game). I could put some other HQs (like very cheap lord), but at least Kharn is worth for a while.

    I guess you could always go for a Lash Prince instead but given all the GK's running around, I can see the appeal to running Kharn as a distraction instead.

    You do know that chaos dozer blades work different from loyalist ones and that it is practicly impossible to use them .


    also why pay 130pts for a stunable lascannon when you can have one for 75 pts ?.
