Default Advice Needed on How to Paint Miniatures Books

My wife wants to join me in the miniatures hobby and I could use a decent book on technique. Has anyone tried the Privateer Press DVD or had experience with the How to Paint Citadel Miniatures book? Is there another book that would be worth picking up instead? I'd greatly prefer a book to online tutorials as we may be losing internet access once we move.
She has her FA but has never worked at this scale before and while I've been painting minis longer I'm not much better than passable.

Miniature Mentor has a host of really good tutorial vids, I encourage you to look at them. The PP volume 1 dvd is a good starting point for a new-to-the-hobby person.

Kamagra is a medication to treat erectile dysfunction in men. This an analog version of super viagra, or sildenafil citrate, which is used for treatment of sexual dysfunction in men. Kamagra increases amount of blood passing to the penis.

The new GW How to Paint Citadel Miniatures book is great for beginners, and has a few neat tips and tricks for experienced painters too. It's a bit pricey (about 50 bucks) but it has a nice DVD that covers all the different techniques that painters use in the beginning. I bought it with no regrets.

The Dark Sword Miniatures painting video with Jen Haley and Anne Foerster is very good.
Note: they have 3-4 videos for sale on their site, this is the one without a person on the cover.

It covers everything from basic model prep to advanced techniques. I've been painting for years and still learned things from the basic chapters.

I have the Miniature Painting with Jen Haley DVD set and it is very good. Her advice on how to paint faces really helped me with a figure I did recently and I'm keen to have a go at some of the other techniques she shows off, such as a very simple and effective way to do wet blending.
Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a worrying thought!
