That price rise on the elves is disappointing for when the wood elves get the rest of their line converted from metal. Hopefully if we get a new army book anytime soon there will be more plastics in the woodies future.

Big WFB Finecast wave incoming apparently, old and new prices in pounds:

Quick question. Are these new release new sculpts? Or just the old models being turned into finecast say like the DE Black Guard for example...?

Apart from the Goblin Shaman and Savage Orc Boss they are all re-releases of the current sculpts.

Thanks for the heads up - I'll be getting my Lord Kroak before he becomes finecasted.

I may not be in the "finecast is the apocalypse!" camp, but I don't think GW has quite gotten the hang of this new material yet, and I'd rather get the models I want while they're cheaper, and in better materials, then wait until they get it right.

Still sigh at some of the prices, Finecast Slann is nothing but a good thing though.

Yup me too. Always liked Savage Orcs and between this guy and the AoW champion, they are a strong contender for what I decide to get next.

I really like the appearance of his face, especially the mouth. Has an echo of squig to it which really conveys the bestial nature of savage orcs.

I was checking out the new DE finecast and all I can say is "holy sh$t!!". Now unless I'm wrong, the black guard are 5 in a box. Correct? For 45$ Canadian. What the hell? 9$/elf, that is ridiculous.
