Not seen it, but I did take my 5 year old daughter to see the croods, unfortunately the cinema got the wrong ad reel in and a bunch of very young children and some pissed off parents got treated to previews of world war z and some exocist flick before the film. Needless to say some parents swung into action and nabbed the manager to put things right.

But how bad does WWZ look?

Hope you managed to get refunds or something...

    Happy Monday one and all!

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

I did. The weekend started with my ride home from work where a 'bus tried to kill me, fortunately it failed, apparently the give way lines on roads only apply to if the roaduser is larger than you. This was swiftly followed by a little old woman turning right from a side road to my left, again apparently getting your shopping home is more important than proper observations.

Saturday was much better, nobody tried to kill me. Had the county 6-bell striking competition, which went well, aside from the rain. My team came 2nd overall, which is good. The winners were the cathedral band, and half of the national 12 bell champions so really they were always going to win. Then watched a smorgesboard of 30 Rock

Sunday followed the usual pattern and eneded with a BBQ and a game of scrabble, which I won, despite not being allowed the word "Drow"

I've been exploring the wonderful world of Glam Rock, and significant parts of Saturday (well, post hangover anyway) were spent listening to T-Rex and The Sweet.

Mine was less death defying, but I managed to not get dressed between Friday night and this morning, so I count that as a success. Though I'm stuck on the second part of Blog this on the Ballard of gay Tony

I went to Winchester, did some shopping, had a stupid expensive meal, saw Star Trek

Sunday consisted of shopping, building a new Broadside, seeing a friend for lunch and then playing Age of Empires 2

    Over too quickly

Next weekend - Nottingham for the BL!
