Default I can FINALLY get rid of the last Windows PC in my house...

...because Army Builder is FINALLY out for Mac! Yee-haw! I must say, I'm quite excited about this! I switched away from Windows YEARS ago. I've been running a lonely, lowly Windows PC for all of those years to run one program: Army Builder.

Today, I installed AB on my Mac and I can let the Windows machine go to it's long awaited grave! There has been talk of this coming for YEARS and now it's finally happened! Glory Hallejuha! Cope

PS Have I said how happy this makes me?!!!

Grats!
Personally, I am waiting for the GW digital codices to be released on something cross-platform, so I don't have to buy a stupid iPad.

Major, you might be waiting a while. I'm betting that GW is going to test the waters for a bit with Apple before they dive all the way into the pool... they seem to be a company that eases into things... Cope

Congratulations, you will now have a house filled with Mac products, which are overpriced 'aesthite' versions of PC! Since their move to Intel, Mac has the exact same hardware as a PC. The only thing you're gaining is an obnoxious OS that Apple would have you believe is maintenance free. Oh, what's that? You can't play video games and you keep running out of virtual memory? That's probably because Mac comes stock with less RAM than an actual PC!

What's that? Mac OS is so much better? Immune to viruses you say? Think again! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12537279/ns/technology_and_science-security/t/macs-no-longer-immune-viruses-experts-say/#.T9VVr9VSTE0

You might have an auto-defragment, and you might have some shiny baubles and will enjoy paying for all that Apple-exclusive content that PC and Android users can typically find for free!

I do hope you enjoy paying twice as much for a shiny logo! /rant

Now I'm going to go enjoy using Army Builder and Hero Lab on my PC to build my next tournament Dark Eldar list, and then level up my Gunslinger/Witch in Pathfinder, like I've been able to do since those programs were released.

Dear Doctor and Daboarder, I like computers that are easy to use all of the time. Apple filled that niche and found PLENTY of folks just like me. Sure, there are a LOT of tech heads out there who can build their own machines out of bits and then install Linux (or whatever) on them... bully for them. *I* am not one of those people. I am a regular Joe who wants a good computing experience every time. Mac has consistently delivered that to me over the years in a way that Microsoft never did. Yes, I pay more for that: but I've found the superior computing experience worth it. Cheers.

PS You can also buy a Zune for less than an iPod... but the experience won't be as good...

PPS: I don't play video games on my PC... I have a very nice console for that (made by Microsoft). Cheers.

Screw macs. I can literally buy like 6 windows laptops for the price of a single macbook. Even if PCs were the pieces of crap macs claim they are (they aren't), I'd just swap out laptops every couple of months and still save money. In reality, though, my last laptop lasted me almost four years.

And, of course, if you're more computer savvy, then go linux, but linux is terribly un-user friendly for anyone who doesn't have a degree in computer science.

Edit:
I don't like ipods, either. Itunes is extremely annoying, and again, there are plenty of mp3 players of just as good quality for much, much, much cheaper out there.

Please go do so. I shan't criticize you for it. We have a free marketplace... Apple caters to my wants and needs and Microsoft clearly meets yours... Cheers.
