Got a shot of primer and some accent colors...

Then tried a black/gunmetal mix on the helm.

I like it, especially the pose and look of the model. I also like the way you did the eyes on the new helm a lot. I look forward to more!

yeah i thought the eyes turned out really well too. It was so simple and I'm surprised I hadn't discovered it before. Basically what I did was take the Vallejo Game Color, thin it down to a 20:1 ratio of thinner to paint (no water) and dab it in. Capillary action took care of the rest.
