When I worked for GW in 1995 I got £2 an hour. Boom! I'd work 10 hours to buy a CD album, a single model blister pack and my lunch that day. I still loved it though.

As for the statue, it is a shame but very understandable.

its a shame, the guy stuck it out doing what he loved for 10+ years. the company must have really jaded him, to want to get rid of such a token. (i dont mean it just for the model, any job that rewards a tenure with an item/token)
