I bet its just a trademark-able replacement for exarch (which is a real word). Have you noticed how the last few codices are filled with oddly spelled unit names for common words (Wych, Spyder, for example).

Wyches have been wyches since 1998. Mysspelledde naymes is just a 40k thing.

These things sound lovely - those 'xentarchs' (i stand by my opinion on that) sound an awful lot like new Phoenix lord sculpts rather than anything else. I could be wrong. I hope I'm not because although those sculpts are well loved classics, they don't really stand up to a lot of the new stuff.

Agree mini avaater better not replace current. Or i'll just keep using my FW one.... And the introduction of a squad of mini avatars will suggest some sweeping fluff changes in places

As for the other thing....horse legs and bird body? What? I'm not convinced

But in reality. The models will be Jes most likely and rock.

As for the dex Phil Kelly prolly won't redo his own work, leaving Cruddance or Ward. Which suggests a slightly unbalenced book, where in each slot theres one obvious choice, that is likely the new model, and the old stuff is screwed into uselesness
