Default Steampunk Cottage

A home away from home for your techpriest? We've just had a look at Steampunk Cottage 02 from Custom Kingdoms, check out all of our pictures and thoughts here:

We like that these terrain pieces come assembled and painted, ready to game with straight away, and we definitely plan to use the Steampunk Cottage in our games in future. Is anyone else using terrain from Custom Kingdoms? What are you thoughts on it?

There is actually a forum topic about Custom Kingdoms in the WFB section as part of my Alternate Miniature Companies thread.

The only issue I havd with them is that they are pre-painted, I like to paint all my terrain so the colour palette matches.

I like the concept but there is something about it which I do not like but I am not sure what it is...

I agree with EG on this. Biggest part of the hobby for me is building and painting. Premade sutff, no matter how nice defeats the point for me

I think my tech marine would be likely to keep banging his head on the attic ceiling...

But more importantly like everyone else I'd prefer it unpainted

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

Doesn't look like it would be too too hard to repaint/touch up/weather to match the rest of any set of given terrain - I quite like it!
