Chaos Androids 2000 points! Help a Necron newbie out!

So I'm getting into 6th edition with a Chaos/Necrons list. This list is intended to be more fluffy than competitive, hence the odd squad sizes and the use of Thousand Sons. I'm also building on a budget, which is why I don't have the Doom Scythe and the Ghost Ark in the same list; I'll either build the Ghost Ark in the battleforce or sell it to buy the Doom Scythe. Anyways, here are the two lists I'm considering running. Is one much better than the other, or should I try to combine elements from both?
