    The mauler/forgefiend is now finished!

And the poor unfortunate deathwing who got in his way. I struggled to decide what colour to paint the terminator victim but I decided on this because dark angels were the first marines the fiend faced in a game.

    Cheers all, hope you like.

    Comments always appreciated!

When I see the Deathwing Terminator I'm imagining that the Forgefiend is giving him a noogie!

really great work, I noticed a few people put in their comments that they like how you free hand paint your models. this got me a little confused, are there other ways to paint models?

    Cheers for the comments!

@heretic marine, when people refer to free hand on models they are normally talking about additional patterns or images painted onto flat areas of models, thing not defined by the shape already there. In this case they're talking about the cracked magma effect I've been using which is just painted straight onto the open areas of the model.

As it happens I have some photos of another model I painted a while ago with probably the most.impressive free hand I've done. Unfortunately the pics are probably not the best. This model was painted for a friends crusade knight themed terminator army.

    Whatcha think?

    Those Fiends are incredible.

You did the same thing as i did. Modelled it standing up more. Looks cooler, but means he gets killed more in games!
