Default Dakkajet scrach built +Free base templates

I thought people might like to see My dakkaJet for my slowly forming Ork army.
The problem i ran into with this build was I did not have any of the nice new
95mm X 120MM oval bases to put it on. So what is a guy to do....
well I could buy them but then they need to get shipped and that takes time plus
alot of people want more then i am willing to pay for the base (11.19 on spiky bits)
so being cheep like i am i just made up a set of templates. (yeah sorry it makes me
happy to see the hit counter on my blog go up so the templates are there)

I hope some one else out there finds them help full at some point.
http://plasticcrack.blogspot.com/ My blog that is slowly getting filled with both what i am currently working on and any tips and tricks i have learned over the years.

Really like this, fond of the idea of being able to scavenge any old Airfix kit or kid's toy and Ork it up, nice work.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong but, is that not the old, Revell P-47 Razorback? Made a few of them in my time but never thought of doing that! Well done that man! Ere we go, ere we go------

Great work. Lookingforward to seeing it painted up!

I've done a similar thing with an A-10 Warthog and a Lancaster, although they were supposed to be more akin to the FW fighta-bommas than the new GW kits... still a fairly decent comparison and no one's had a problem playing against them yet. Really like yours though. Looks about the same size as the GW kit?

Any further plans for it atm?
Always thinking 2 projects ahead of anything I've yet to finish
