New Necron Army!

Recently I decided it was time to something new. I always loved the aesthetic of the Necron army and the form of the new models. Here are some pics of the first couple units. Most of it is me figuring out how I want to paint this army (mostly the Immortals). The Stalker is the only model with a fully finished base.

As you can see there are two different styles of Immortals in these pics. Still trying to decide if the OSL is working or not and worth doing.

I approve 100%, the rust is brilliant, and the underlying colour is awesome, very different from most necron armies. I love how the green of the computers and the like all shine through the rust like they are brand new, the light pouring out of them, just stunning, you are a master/mistress of model painting.

Just doing a quick update with my first two converted Crypteks. I basically made them by combining Warriors, Deathmarks/Immortals and Lychguard. After some seriously bad luck with Finecast I have zero interest in spending huge amounts of money for a single pose model so doing it this way was a double win. I can customize them and they are plastic (which is the goal for this entire army...nothing but plastic).

1st Up is the Destruction Cryptek with an Eldrict Lance:





2nd Up is a Despair Cryptek with a Staff of Light and a Veil of Darkness:





I also have converted up a regular Lord and will finish painting him soon (pics shortly after that)

That's an awesome Necron army for sure, some of the best rust iv seen and I love the dark blue/crimson mix. Nice to see more folks go for immortals over warriors too.

the conversion is a neat idea, but it doesn't really look like anything other than triarch praetorians, I hope when you play with this army someone doesn't pull a dick move with WYSIWYG
