A simple 1500 list with variety instead of spam so you can see what you prefer. Storm goes with the Warrior squad, and the Destroyer Lord with the Wraiths. Trazyn scores, so you pretty much have 4 troops. Immortals control your base objectives, and the Wraiths and Destroyer Lord harass the enemy positions. Trazyn is great for trying to take control of weakened enemy objectives, and between the Ark and the veiled Immortals you should have more than enough mobility.
Try this out in a few games, see what works for you, and get more of that to expand to 2k points.

I think your overlooking a lot of thing in that codex, because it's pure gold. I can't find a single bad unit in it. Immortal are awesome, with tesla or gauss. Wraiths are great as well, especially with a destroyer lord.

I know a lot of people talk crap about Matt ward but that book is amazing. There are so many strats to run and most are extremely effective. Gauss immortals means your troops are anti everything and by no means squishy. If you take a court and stick a res orb lord and staff of light they are a real threat. Also, running 3 annihilation barges is only 270 points and s8 tesla spells doom for most vehicles.
Death marks are also awesome. And the elites with warsythes... Drop a monolith or 2 in and watch people panic as they deal with 2 av 14 vehicles in their face.

While there might not be "bad" units, some are worse than others.

Flayed Ones, Praetorians, Monoliths all poor.

    I have 2 questions
How did you get the title Chaplin?
And how on earth is a av14 heavy transport with a 24inch range battle cannon and 12 bolter shots? For 200points, that almost broken...
