Not a big fan of the librarian (I think it's the washed out face, but there are a few bits I find that are just a bit 'off' for one reason or another) but the rest is absolutely stunning mate. I especially love the Contemptor and the Black and Gold Knights!
Always thinking 2 projects ahead of anything I've yet to finish

Note to self, I must try harder . I'm onto some Emperors Children / Slannesh marines at the moment. I think the problem with my Salamanders army in general is my style of painting kept changing from unit to unit in an effort to find one result I liked over the others. Airbrushing, wet blending, oil washes, hard edge highlights. I have been trying them all. Whilst the palette always stayed the same the techniques changed and don't tie the army together as well as I would have liked.
This army I hope will be much more unified. I have zeroed in on my palette and figured traditional pinks, blacks and golds though out, spot colours will be turquoise and blues. Airbrushing most of the pinks and hand painting the rest. I am working on my chaos lord ATM, and will update later this week.

So not posted anything in awhile, but I have finally finished the contents of 2 Necron Battle forces I got for chrimbo plus a few extras. I posted a few pics of some stuff awhile ago and these are just a few quick pics from my iphone. Next up will be 3 Annihilation Barges, 6 Wraiths, 5 Destroyers and a Destroyer Lord. However I am hanging fire on the purchases just incase FW release something in the next few weeks or so. I may be tempted with some of that new stuff.

pics arent great but will get the mrs SLR out and take some macro ones later.

    Cheers

Looks great! I have a feeling that they will release some Necron stuff at the Forge World Open Day.

So I have added 3 Tomb Blades to my Necrons, I plan to add 2 more to have a full squad. Easy enough to assemble and paint. However step 8 got me confused which are the shield vanes on the back of the model. At this point during assembly the blades nearly turbo boosted into a wall, but after walking away and coming back after a calm down all was well. Nothing like a relaxing afternoon crafting

They really look amazing, but everytime I see them they make me think iNecrons...

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

Whoaaaa its been ages since I posted any models on BoLs. Life eh ? Whats it all aboot ?
Anyway I'm up and running after a big splurge on all new hobby materials. New airbrush and compressor, paints and materials to do oil washes. Work space is pretty limited but its early days. Anyway I bought a Riptide and decided to paint it Farsight Enclave and magnetise the weapons whilst I was at it. Couldn't decide which head I liked the best either so I made that interchangeable too. As usual my camera work is a bit iffy. It really is down to space at the moment.

reading all the posts, very nice work Deadlift, especially on the iNecrons LOL.

I agree about the sally libby though, his face is too washed out, if his face was painted the more traditional Dark skinned as the old fluff stated, he would really pop.
