I was at Jes' seminar, and I was going to say that. He expressed a desire to do a mercenearies-type thing to go with the allies rules. So could be anything from the first expansion book for 6th ed that's already finished, to a cool idea someone mentioned that we might get to in a few years if we can. I'm hoping closer to the former than the latter

Plus, you don't have to buy from CHS, and quite cheap too. Or at least, relatively cheap if you're in Australia, I don't know how it works where you're from

    You've probably made his day

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

I think Maugan Ra or another of the Phoenix Lords might be a suitable stand in for the Solitaire.

I think a Corsair Prince could make a decent Solitaire. Give him the rending weapon, fusion pistol, shadow field and you got pricey dude/ette who can mess stuff up. He can have his own separate harlie troupe to go with. You can fudge some corsairs to be the required troop choice.

I was thinking perhaps a shadowfield archon as a counts-as Solitaire, but a corsair princess would work too.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

What do people think fits in better with the Harlequins thematically: Dark Eldar kabalite mercenaries or wyches? I'm leaning towards kabalites, wyches seem a little less likely to want to go to a crone world, daemons probably aren't good arena fodder.

I did think perhaps Lelith Hesperax as the compulsory HQ to represent a solitaire though. 3++ dodge, lots of attacks, utra high WS, ignores armour.

Corsairs, because they're in the book.

Obviously. I'm going to have a Corsair allies addition but I'm working through Dark Eldar at the moment 'cos I left my copy of IA11 downstairs and I can't be bothered getting it.

Corsairs do make more sense. But of all DE, Kabalites make the most sense. In a fluff sense they're there as they've been hired to be there.

Or the Archon is mounting a raid to an Ancient planet that he knows there is something valuable to be found.

Lelith would be a good match to a Solitaire in rules terms.

Yeah, I'd go Kabalites as an alternative.
