Battlefield engine is fine for single player. Its just that Battlefield is a crap game form single player....

And Mass Effect did have real choice. Its just that those choices had **** all consequences

How can you slam a graphics engine for single player? That's ridiculous, its a graphics engine.

ME3 was made by a different team of people, and even then BW showed a willingness to listen to criticism, look at the Extended Cut. Most people were happy with it, bar a few habitual whingers. Even with the online nerdrage ME3 still sold exceptionally well for weeks after launch.

I was thinking in terms of the lazy respawning enemies and poor AI, but if you're only talking graphics that's different, hope it has some good water effects...
It was hyped the same way modern call of battlefield is, the "moaning" was far more widespread than anything I can remember recently...

I agree with imperialpower on this one, not especially interested. Absolutely loved Dragon Age, played it through three times with different characters, Dragon Age 2 was a major let down, less choice, boring/annoying characters, plot tedious and disconnected, I never finished it. It was all spectacle and no substance, I hated the fact that you could press the attack button twice and your character started leaping about all over the place, it totally removed me from the experience because the on screen animations had no bearing on what I was doing.

I actually preferred the story of DA2, it was so refreshing to have a protagonist who for all her skills and position at the centre of events was treated like just another person by the other factions. No bullying them into not killing each other just because she was the protagonist. I did dislike the combat system though, very boring and silly.

DA: 3 will not be a game I run out and buy. 2 was such a letdown due to the game play. That, and well--I may not be finished playing XCom over and over and over again.

But some info. One oft he worlds in 3 will be the size of all the worlds in 2.

And you get your own castle to control and grow. Kinda cool
