I'm not going to get an ipad, but I will get an iphone. Will this product work for the iphone?

It'd be nice if they let you have the digital copy for free when you get the hard copy. I want both but won't pay for both, it'll probably never happen though.
Being unable to go get the codex last Saturday (had an operation Friday) I ended up getting the iBooks codex. I have the SM as well and it looks like they are hitting their stride with it. Looking good. The downside is that they are big (in bytes) and so are the WDs. No way I could keep a collection.
I do agree with the worry on price. Apple taking 30% is nothing compared to normal channels (manufacturing, transportation, stores) so GW is easily making more on this. Problem is, buying both a hardcopy and digital is $100 or so. There's no way I will continue paying that so my choice is then either or. And as fancy as the iBook one is, I don't want to bring my iPad when I game.
I'd pay an extra $15-20 with a one time code from the hardcover. Would be more realistic.
The digital codex is great. Organized and easy to use, the reference in the back has the psykic powers as well as the boon table so it's ideal for gaming. Steady improvement each time a digital codex comes out leads me to believe gw really cares about the digital products.
Although the digital wd was crap, I am remaining optimistic.
