if you havent read the short story... you might not want to read this... possible spoilers...


upon looking at a lot of speculation of the last few lines of the story I think I have a theory that can make a little sense. As one might know, Alpharius was speculated to have been killed by guilleman on Eskrandor... As the HH progresses we keep edging towards that certain planet. In 'the serpent beneath' Omegon makes comments about a shrouded blue set of armour he has, and proceeds to talk about a person taking the bait. What if this suit happens not be a rank and file alpha legion armour set, but an Ultramarine set of armour, closely identical to the great roboute. Omegon I think will lead a host of marines disguised as Ultrasmurfs to kill his own brother...
