Avenger Strike Fighter, Awesome or Really awesome?

So what do you guys think about the Avenger strike fighter? I have been looking at its weapon load out and been wondering is there any reason to even buy more weapons then it has standard....Opinions?

The main avenger bolt cannon is pretty darn awesome, but you are only getting 2 normal lascannons otherwise. so depending on your intended target for the plane, i think it would be appropriate to pick up a missile launcher if you are vehicle hunting or hellstrike missiles for infantry.

Well i own one, tested it finally two days ago.I loaded it out with the Missile Launchers and found that either hunting tanks or popping SM's is very easy now.
All the weapons i use the lowest AP is 3.

My friend spent so much trying to kill it, took him two turns and a very lucky roll with a Lascannon.
