    Default Thunderstorm Missile Launcher

    Hey all,

We've been playing around with the Thunderstorm Missile Launcher from MaxMini, looking at the different ways we could use them in in our games of 40k. Here are a couple of sample pics:

Its a great little kit, which fits well with the 40k look and scale, we've done a full review of it with many more pictures and thoughts on how it can be used, you can see the full review here:

Are any of you already using these? Did you come up with anything different to what we thought in the reivew? Feel free to post pics if you've painted yours.

my first thought is for converting drop pods into deathwind pods, have one of those in each bay of the pod, or perhaps just three in a triangle on the tripod stands in the centre
Twelve monkeys, eleven hats. One monkey is sad.

I think they need to be deeper...

Possibly a pre-hersey loyalist havoc launcher would be nice

Wolfshade has a point, it'd be helpful in the review to have a side view so we can see how deep they actually are, cheers.

Just had a quick measure and the individual pods are 10mm deep while being 12mm x 9mm wide/tall depending on which way around you assemble them.

Ah I see that makes more sense, from the angles (and presumably the curvature at the rear) they looked very flat.
