Hi all

Here is the start of my Sons of Horus force for some 30k fun



I started these due to a little twitter initiative called #ForgeWorldOnly in which you build up a force slowly.

Its a simple concept and will certainly help deal with FW prices well if you want it to anyway

They look great! That green SoH color is really tricky too but you made it look good. Personally I would have gone darker with it (more black accents too) but I like the simple subtlety of yours. I am particularly impressed with those bases, they look incredibly gritty and real and they really make the models pop.

I agree darker could also work (all I would need is to use a darker grey).
The bases are great fun mixture of cork floor boards, sheet styrene and the waste resin blocks from FW

At the moment I am working on a Contemptor dreadnought and I have plans to use the Minotaur special character as my Legion Praetor.

As well as the standard marines to make it a legal force

Well it has taken a while but here is my Contemptor dreadnought.



I have magnetised the arms as well so I can swap around within the Talon I am planning.
