Tau Defense Line?

I've heard people mention some cheap and easy ways to make Aegis Defense Lines for non-Imperial armies. Can anyone out there link me to one or more of the Tau ADL projects?

Years ago creating a table top for and apoc game, my friends and I built some walls for advanced xenos, like tau and eldar. We took the large clear flyer base and cut them in half. we the mounted them on the cut edge, on the terrain and painted some lines to reflect a powerfield. in between we mounted small flyer bases with the stem push in from the bottom. it looks like a mushroom. the idea was a force field wall.I think we also used some tau looking bits to make a generator. In the end it was cheap and easy to make and looked very good.
