February Flyer Wave

Yup, that is the exact flyer mix that has been reported for several months as coming in Q1:

4 Kits:
Tau
Eldar
Tyranid
Dark Eldar

That goes a long way to equalizing out the flyer wars between all the armies.

Still though, you should weep for Fantasy players - Feb flyers means a possible 11 month gap for Fantasy with no army book. That's bleak.

I'm pretty happy that DE finally get their bomber. Now they need some SC love. At this point, almost every army barring Sisters, BT and SW will have a flyer or flying MC available.

Regarding WFB not having an update in 11 months, that is what happened with 40K during its 25th anniversary year. I'm sure that we'll see 2-3 new army books this year. Unfortunately, none of them will be Wood Elves or Bretonnia.

We did get a Daemons and Chaos Warriors WD update in the last 6 months so it's not quite weeping time yet, but not far off. I'm assuming both of those will get a new book in the next 12 months. Though Necron Lord is enitrely correct that neither will be Brets or WE.

That would be a pretty awesome release if it turns out to be true...four xenos factions all getting something, and for some it will of been their first new kit in a long while...

yknow, the harpy may not be that good on paper, but to be honest I have wanted a kit for that bloody thing for forever and a day. I wanna run harpies for fun, and with GW's history on tyranid wings, its bound to be a beautiful kit to say the least. So I definitely plan on getting one and assembling that biatch soon as it comes out.
