And a MC can replace half to double strength and has AP: 2 naturally, and I seriously doubt that a giant battlesuit will be weaker than a Crisis Suit. I'll take 2+ attacks at AP: 2 over 1 AP: 1, in most cases.

Here's another Tau-related "If Only."

I'm a fan of stealth suits. I think the XV25 is a cool-looking model, I like the way they horribly exploit cover. I like that they can infiltrate and outflank and deep strike. I like that they are a great source of relentless markerlighting (with marker drones, of course).

Sadly, XV25s are usually ignored in favor of their big cousins, the XV8s and XV88s (that said, I once saw someone field an awesome list that used a huge blob of stealthy XV25s and a horde of gun drones to smack face in close quarters firefights - the XV25's 3+ save and stealth rules really shone).

I'm just guessing here, but with the new rules, stealthblob is going to be disgusting

Two more for the Tau:
• If only I could put a Shas'el in a riptide. BS 5? And it's my Warlord now? That would have been awesome.
• If only missile drones really were just drones that you could put on anything. And if only you could have fielded drone squadrons full of missile drones.

I'm actually pretty content with the Tau codex as it is... but those would have been neat options.
