Where's the Bretonnian love?

I don't see any rumors/leaked pics for Bretonnians. Where's the love for the Bretonnians?

They need as much work as the Stick Pixies do. Cavalry and Skirmishers took a suitable kicking in 8th Edition!

That's cos leaked pics only normally start to show up within a couple months of those models release these days. The only rumours about the pseudo-froggies that we have is that "they are being worked on" and that "they may or may not be due out 2015". And that's about it.

Not really a fan of the Brets but I am still curious to see what GW do with them.

2015!? Ugh. Okay, I guess that saves me some money anyways. I'll have to get my cavalry fix with Empire or Chaos Warriors.

Yup 2015 is what has been rumoured, late 2014 at the earliest. From what we've heard from reliable rumour sources we can expect to see High Elves, Lizardmen, Dark Elves and Dwarfs all before Brets and it's entirely possible that we may see Skaven and Beastmen covered before them too. I would not be at all surprised to see Brets and Wood Elves be the last army books done for 8th edition and they would thus be written with 9th edition in mind, so as to be more compatible going forwards. That is pure conjecture on my part though.

I am curious as to what new units GW would bring to Brets? I've had a couple of concepts for what they could do, but certainly dwindling in the inevitable GW 'big kit', all I can see potentially is trebuchet or karl franz scaled hippogryph.

And surely as the 'cavalry specialists' (they may not be, but they'll always hold that image in my head) they would have to have monstrous cavalry? Could be pegasus knights if they're switched from FC.

I'd say a plastic trebuchet and plastic pegasus knights would be a safe bet.

1) Deploy in lances
2) Opt to pray. It's not like you need the first turn....

Bah, meant Grail Knights, saw pegasus somewhere and it got stuck in my head. There were also rumours the trebuchet would be a dual kit with a grail relicquae and I was told there would be a new Repanse de Lyonesse sculpt. Supposedly it is done and looks magnificent, but I have my doubts.
