Watched the first episode of season two (legally, has it been on teevee here yet?) last night and it was pretty good, annoyed by what happened to a certain character but I can't be bothered grumbling about that right and I suspect it isn't permanent. Lots of feels with Fitz. The flashback was nice if short.

The latest episodes have been superlative; love the fact that Ward is possibly the creepiest villain in the entire MCU. Even more so because he hid in plain sight all the way through season 1 (on account of typical superspy heroes act an awful lot like real-world psychopaths. [url]http://www.8cn.tv/content/shields-biggest-twist-didnt-have-anything-do-hydra[/url] Way to exploit the tropes Marvel!). Really liking how broken everyone has become and the fact Hydra now feel like a serious, legitmate threat.

I have a horrible feeling Simmons is going to turn into a very serious Big Bad and it's going to be utterly tragic to watch.
