    Default Necron Flying Circus 2.0

Back in the day (2nd thru 5th edition Necrons), the Necron Flying Circus was made up of a Necron Lord with Veil of Darkness to bounce around the board with a unit of Necron Immortals in tow. In the fluff, Necrons teleport around the battlefield at will.

6th edition food for thought: The next generation Necron Flying Circus:

    2x Overlords (2 Royal Courts)
    +
    2x 15 Warrior units attached to 2 Veil-teks
    +
    3x 15-Warriors units in Scythes
    =
5 large scoring units that can be anywhere on the map anytime

It clocks in at 1575 points, plenty of room for more toys in 1750/1850 games. Obyron can replace 1 Overlord plus 1 Veil-tek for a 15 point tax. Add cheap Annihilation barges for anti quad gun duties. You can stuff more Warriors in the Veil units, but each unit can already reliably pop 3 hull points in 1 round.

    Necron Flying Circus 2.0

It will not be uber-competitive to the WAAC gang, but it will be fun and completely different than what we see on the table today! Up to 170 Gauss Flayer shots (2x(20+20+15+15+15)) can't be all bad...
