So the Winter Olympics has started and I'm looking forward to many of the events. I love the hockey and hope Canada will repeat their performance of 4 years ago. The last final in 2010 was Canada v USA and it's one of the best sporting events I have ever seen.

But why oh why do the BBC insist on wheeling out Torvil and Dean yet again and inflicting their 1 gold medal from decades ago on us yet again. I've just had to switch off a recount of the entire day they won the medal. Starting with their ****ing breakfast. Sorry for the rant folks, but I've got it off my chest now. Anyway in my household the next 2 weeks the theme is Go Canada. I love the Winter Olympics more than the summer ones

I like the aerial stuff myself, the half-pipe and the snowboard races because they're kinda ludicrous. Also the slalom and such.
