I didn't make a judgement call.

@Mystery we got two full sets, but to do it I never want to see another kinder egg again.

I'm not being critical, just saying gendering is something most people do without realising it.

This article is relevant to this board: 10 Stupid Arguments People Use To Defend Comic Book Sexism. Not only is it totally on point, but it was written by a man, proving that are men (lots of us, in fact) who think the defense of sexism in comics is simply absurd.

Mayim Bialik really doesn't like Frozen.

on the one hand, I really like Frozen, on the other hand, I do see what she means...

Setting aside the fact that I really don't like Big Bang Theory, I think she has a point in some aspects. I liked Frozen though.

This is actually fairly painful to read, given the way it strawmans a supposed overbearing feminist push to "remove fun from games," while idolising Gamergate, and waving away the bile that such a movement has been leaking from every orifice.

Agree with her on animation even if I like the style, all the women look virtually identical which is disturbing. Disagree with everything else. I adore Frozen and I'm perfectly happy to admit it has problems (representation of Sami, representation of people of colour (hint: there is none), representation of women (there is like 4 in the whole film with speaking parts and 3 of them look identical) and a few other things. But her criticism are not particularly convincing. It's man-bashing because it teaches girls that their first crush might not be real love? Please.

“what if the aborted baby could have cured cancer???”

oh my god what if the last egg I bled onto a kotex product could have cured cancer??

oh my god how am I not birthing every possible egg I produce, lest one of those resulting babies be the person who cures cancer/AIDS/creates world peace????

what if that baby could have been a musical artist described by pitchfork as “liberace with a metalcore twist”????

how dare i not be pregnant/birthing all the time always?????
Source. I particularly hate this argument against reproductive rights, because no one says 'oh god one of the billions of sperm boys shoot into old socks could go on to be the person who cured cancer!'.
