Oh and the US Supreme Court apparently has said that while corporations are people with religious views protected by law, actual people in custody in Guantanamo Bay are not people with religious views protected by law. Because logic.

But to imply that some of us my sympathise with the situation because our own behaviours are at fault too ? That is an absolute load of bollocks. completely uncalled and clutching at straws.

Interesting development in the fight against sharing nudie pics sent in confidence.
And not too long ago they were saying they wouldn't use that law to prosecute post sixteen couples taking pictures of each other.

But its legal for them to **** each other senseless as much as they want.
It was in a news report, on BBC I'm sure it was a high ranking police officer saying they wouldn't use the law to criminalise young couples.
It was intended to protect older teens from older predators.

Yes, but if they were to record themselves at it they could never watch it. Great bit of joined up thinking.

    "What were you wearing?"

I wore a red dress to work today. It has a zipper at either side of my chest that can unzip and reveal a thin strip of skin. A coworker, without warning, tried pulling at the zipper and when it wouldn’t zip, instead revealed a good portion of my collarbone and shoulder as well as my bra strap. An hour later, the same coworker came up and told me to not wear clothes with zippers because he’ll go right ahead and unzip them. I shot back that unzipping me without my permission is sexual harassment. Apparently a manager heard and berated my coworker. At the end of my shift, my coworker told me that my little comment got him in trouble and that he no longer feels comfortable saying anything to me other than “hello” and “goodbye.”

I am supposed to feel guilty for pointing out that he can’t lay his ****ing hands on me.

    ---

So I wore the infamous dress at work yesterday and ANOTHER MALE COWORKER DECIDED TO PULL AT ONE OF MY ****ING ZIPPERS.
We were surrounded by other (also male) coworkers (that did nothing) and I swatted his hand away while promptly informing him that he didn’t have permission to touch me.

He then asked, since he knows I cosplay, if it would be any different if I wore a revealing costume. I gave him a dirty look and told him that no matter what *I* decide to wear, no one is allowed “to lay a finger on me unless they want my foot up their ***.”

Being that I’m quite professional at work, they were all surprised by my language and the ferocity with which I spat my promise.

    Also:

Polish doctor that refused to perform abortion named a “hero”

Dr Bogdan Chazan was visited by an expecting mother (32 weeks into pregnancy), who already had 5 miscarriages before and was worried about her health. It turned out that the fetus had hydrocephalus, undeveloped brain and was missing many bones from its skull. The Doctor refused to perform an abortion and didn’t send the woman to another hospital which could do so (according to polish law, if a doctor doesn’t want to perform an abortion, he has to choose another hospital which will agree to do so). Chazan was named a “local hero” and “true warrior of Jesus in the name of life of the unborn” by many polish politicians and catholic activists. He used conscience clause as an excuse for his actions.

The woman gave birth to the child through a C-section. She and her husband spent 10 painful days watching their deformed child die a horrible death. When she finally decided to speak out, she said:

“During these 10 days, no priest, no pro life activist or even dr Chazan came to see the child, to ask if they can help. It was really hard to look at our child. We knew what was coming, but it was still very hard to cope with”

Congratulations, pro-lifers - another “life” saved, another “happy” child and “happy” family.

I wasn't referring to men in this thread specifically. I was just pointing out this thread is full of links to news and articles which illustrate male entitlement yet people still ask for 'evidence'.

Oh look, men feeling they have a right to touch a woman without permission, sounds an awful lot like they feel entitled to something which they aren't... Glad her boss disciplined the first one at least.

That is disgusting, hope he gets barred from practising medicine.
