[/URL]
Cracked continue to do Good Works with social justice. The comments are hilarious, virtually all of the anti-feminist comments use the very same elements the article calls out.
The first and worst ******* technique for arguing against feminism is demanding proof of sexism every single time the subject is raised. It's a popular strategy because it pretends to be in good faith. New claims do require proof. But sexual inequality isn't a new claim. Sexual inequality is almost the entire history of our species. When nearly every social statistic in every country on the planet is evidence of the problem, people fighting it don't have to list them all to justify the discussion.
A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack is when multiple sources overload a target computer with requests to prevent it from getting anything done. The Duh-DoS is the organic equivalent, with multiple people asking duh-worthy questions. If the target answers, they're wasting their energy on someone with no intention of listening. If they don't answer, they're accused of admitting there's no real problem. No matter what they do they're at a disadvantage, which is exactly the problem they were fighting in the first place.
It works on more infernal and ****tier levels than a Malebolgian leak. It resets every discussion (imagine a basketball forum demanding that the concept of points be re-explained at the start of every thread). It automatically devalues the woman's experience, because her statement that she experienced sexism is invalidated by implication: She must provide external proof. It also elevates the questioner to the position of authority, the ultimate judge who must be satisfied before he'll deign to consider the problem. As opposed to an ******* rando begging for the block button.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

Come on be fair, you have to be protestant too...
However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!
A knee high fence, my one weakness

Twelve monkeys, eleven hats. One monkey is sad.
Huh. People are still killing sharks because they're "dangerous to people?" Didn't we establish that as being grossly over-exaggerated years ago?
As for rapists, a lot more needs to be done to throw the book at them... and then some. We need stronger punishments for rape. Or at least to actually use them. Also need some strict punishment for false rape reports, because those are probably hurting the chances of real rapes being convicted properly. Whenever people see a story like Brian Banks, it puts unnecessary doubt in their mind for rape trials.
I'd do nastier things to rapists than the law allows, but, well... I'm not a good person, and I admit that. I hate the idea of abusing a woman like that.
I'm of two minds on that poster, addressing a serious problem with hyperbole and misinformation. "100 million sharks are culled annually" Ok, I can see that; "In the name of unjustified threats to humans" Oh so the use as a food source has nothing to do with that number. It's like saying that 100 million cows are slaughtered annually because of the 1 in what ever chance of someone being gored. I know it's a odd thing to be bothered with but it seems that the norm today is twist numbers and words around so they mean or sound to mean something that they are not. Ok it's as old as politics, but...
and so it begins. 50 Shades of Grey used as excuse for assault and rape of a student

In the words of Hubert Farnswort... I don't want to live on this planet any more.
