Have you considered a dominatrix daboarder, the humiliation you suffer would be more discreet that what occurs when you post here.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

Same approach to gaming discussions - declare self correct, and attack any opposing opinion, don't provide evidence, act the wounded party.

I don’t expect gay people to prove to me, a straight person, that there’s actually homophobia. I don’t expect poor people to prove to me, a Harvard grad, that hunger and poverty are widespread problems. And if someone asked me, as an Asian person, to “prove” to them that racism exists, I would laugh all the way back to Chinatown. Marginalized groups are not responsible for explaining their marginalization to you. If you are actually concerned, you would take the initiative to do some research yourself instead of showing up at some oppressed group’s door step demanding a list of citations for things (racism, sexism, etc.) that are proven time and time again in the real world.

I think it's harder to admit one is sexist, simply because it's so prevalent and normalised in society.

    Racism? Easy to tell.

    Homophobia? Easy to tell.

Hunger, poverty, class based discrimination? Easy to tell,

But misogyny, much harder, and to my mind, worth all the more introspection.

To compare to work. I had a Stop/Start/Continue at work when I started mentoring a team. On of their issues was that I sometimes sighed when they asked me for assistance. This wasn't something I was ever aware I was doing, and I'm still not sure I ever did. But my solution? Take it at face value, and make it a conscious thing to smile and say hello when they approached as my initial action. Whether I ever did do the sighing is now irrelevant, because I know I don't anymore. And that's been acknowledged and appreciate by all those who it affects.

Consider a similar approach elsewhere in life, and listen to criticism. Don't brush it off

I'm no expert but I would think that sexism is one of the most primal biases. For most of us, we grow up with our biological parents becoming the symbols for the 2 genders. We generalize our parent's weaknesses/strengths onto their genders. We don't mean to.. It's just that our parents are our role models during our most formative years (0-6).

I'm not excusing sexism.. I'm just saying that it is much harder for us to overcome. The ghosts from the nursery haunt us for our whole lives.

Is it primal or societal though?

If we treat wimmins as equals, we'll find out I guess.

A bit like our discussion on female lobotomy ? You stated 74% of ALL procedures were on women. When I asked where you got your figures you gave me........ Sweden 1944 to 1958.

If your going to get uppity because your sources are called into doubt, then make sure you can back up your statements with credible sources and not conformation bias.
