Yep the Doctor has gone from being an anti-establishment nosy do-gooder to an old man who will demand obedience, override the will of his companions and anyone else and get treated like a god for it. Just like Sherlock in Sherlock funnily enough. Smith managed to save the character to some extent by making him so goofy (ditto Tennant for the little while Moffat was in charge of him) but it can only go so far. Then you have Moffats overt personal sexism, queerbaiting and general ****ing obnoxiousness.

Have you considered writing the Beeb with specific regard to this? (I do not watch Who, and have only seen 1 episode of Sherlock)

People have, the trouble is because Doctor Who and Sherlock are so huge they aren't going to touch him however obnoxious he is.

Dunno, given some of the outfits he's been caught wearing (like those gold vinyl pants) I think any blatantly sexist questions about clothes should be bounced to RDJ instead.
