Religion is fine, it's the people that are the problem. Doesn't help that the Bible is so full of contradictions that simply adhering to its word doesn't work out.

Sorry if I came across a little snappy, I was expecting this to turn into another, "haha, religious people are dumb! I'm a college freshman doing psychology and a militant Atheist, so I'm going to adhere to Science as if it were a religion anyway."

Y'know, kids who think Richard Dawkins is a scientist, rather than a pompous, self-righteous a**ehole.

You'd think with all the lawyers in Hell Satan could manage to send them a cease and desist order for IP infringement.

I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that someone would do this for a living or the fact that there is even a market for such despicable services.

No worries here mate! I just get so irritated at how religion is used by institutions. And I fully agree with you that people are the fly in the ointment... although that's the case with pretty much everything.

Organized religion is simply dangerous, offering up the capacity to cause great harm... mainly because way too many people fail to question things. I guess it's just easier to avoid going through the exercise of questioning things.

Yeah, that RSD thing is just so unforgivably awful... I'm actually rowing with a buddy of mine who never managed to extract himself from that awful 'Man-Shaming' pickup culture entirely. Hopefully this is all the proof I need to get my point across and rescue one more decent youth from the grip of feeling inadequate for not being able to reach an ideal that frankly doesn't exist.

    Yup.

I often wonder if the male sex drive is overstated, as we're constantly told it's a measure of social success.

Me? Whilst I very much enjoy the intimate conpany of a woman, it's something I can happily go without. I certainly feel no compulsion to get it all the time, every time. I just don't have that drive!

Everyone needs to learn to measure success against their own yardstick rather than outside expectations. Personally I prefer the first definition of intimacy and choose to measure success in terms of money and cats but that's just me...

It's a tricky subject to discuss, which doesn't really help.

I mean, majority enjoy it, and it's an important part of a relationship - yet it remains largely taboo.

Can you imagine the result of a thread meant to discuss it?

Quite right! It is something that everyone should be able to enjoy and it is important to every relationship. It does get blown out of proportion as it's place is inversely related to the length of the relationship. For example it may be the focal point of a one night stand (what else is there?), but is a small (but still important) part of a 50 year relationship. And if that thread appears I will be donning full combat gear before entering the gates!
