3000 points Imperial Guard

Morning, last week I was informed by my local GW Manager that we are allowed to book gaming tables for more than the usual number of points and gaming time, so I decided to come up with a 3000 point Imperial Guard army.

Here's the list I threw together last night:

Lord Commissar

Veteran Squad (x3)

Basilisk Squadron

- Enclosed Crew Compartment x3

Hellhound Squadron
- Hellhound x3
- Multimelta x3

Hydra Flak Battery
- Hydra x3

Leman Russ Squadron
- Battle Tank x2
- Lascannon x2
- Dozer Blade x2

All of this comes to 2985pts.

Originally I had planned on using a Company Command Squad, but as I had decided to put half the vets in the Vendettas and the rest in Chimeras I realised that there was no guarantee that I would get to use the orders. Also there were other things bought for some of the units which I got rid of in order to buy more stuff :P

Unless I've misread you are only using 2 of your 3 Fast attack slots. Any reason why you wouldn't split the Vendettas 2 and 1 for more flexibility?

I can never tell if the reason for the lack of replies is because I've written a great list or no-one is home from work yet, lol.
