Next Buys ...

Hey guys ... I'm considering next buys for my X-Wing collection, which currently consists of the core set and the YT-1300 and Firespray-31 expansions - barely enough for a 100-point game, assuming every model is crammed full of upgrades. I'm considering whether my next buy should be the X-wing and TIE/LN blisters, or a second core set.

I'm not in a geographical place right now where I feel comfortable collecting only one side, so I am trying to keep my collection balanced to increase playing opportunities. The blisters increase my pilot and gear options, but I'm concerned that two X-wings vs. three TIE/LNs will not actually make for as fun games as two X-wings vs. four TIE/LNs.

The advantage of buying the Tie Fighter and X-wing booster sets is you get different cards and upgrades from those in the starter set. Worth getting potentially, along with a Tie Advanced (for Vader/Luke grudge matches) and possibly for an Ion Cannon (so Rebels can help immobilise those pesky dodgy Ties).
