    Default Deadlifts doing Iyanden

Made a start on what I had ordered.

The yellow in the Codex and WD I found to be just too bright for my taste so I have tried to calm it down a bit. So anyway its a standard Iyanden paint scheme but I have a few tweaks I will be trying as I go on with the army that will hopefully make it stand out from the crowd. Here's the Wraithguard so far.

And I also made a start on my battle board.

Lovely, what technique are using for the yellow?
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

I'll second EG's question. That is a lovely yellow you've got there, care to tell us how it's done?
Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a worrying thought!

I based with grey primer, then pre-shaded the areas I wanted darker with a colour called "Red Clay then over the top I did a very light coat of the yellow which is called "Craven", both paints were from badgers Minitaire range. All done with an airbrush and if you like when I'm on the next box of Wraithguard I will take some progress pics to show what I did.
Thanks for your approval on the models

You've done those colours brilliantly. Loving your airbrush action.
I'm very much looking forward to more posts of this army deadlift

I particularly like the effect you've got on the "heads".

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

Thanks guys, actually the bit I found the hardest was the gems, never done them before. Tricky to get them to look right.
