It's a bit weird I was wondering what is the maddest unit you can think of for 40K. It dosn't need to be real or even useable. here are some of mine
Looted tyranids
IG terminators
looted raider.

Yes they were and that was the reason why GW dropped them as an army or a unit choice for Eldar.

I had a really good win rate with my small army of Harlequins (36 models) got so bad that I had to use my normal Eldar because no one would play against them.

Back during the Rogue Trader days they were even worst.
