    Yeah that is about right and sucks balls if you want to play Chaos Marines. There is no way that craptastic boon chart makes up for 3 special rules the loyalists have for that one point Codex Marines are many times better than Chaos ones. It is simply poor design turning the bad marines into lousy "Bond Villains" that are meant to lose.
    Oh yeah i agree with you, to be quite frank i don't get why chaos don't have ATSKNF anyway.

    They made Dark Reapers relentless. Relentless devestators is a lot scarier though.
    Depends how the Devs are equipped i suppose. Though Dark Reapers are slow & purposefull, but still plenty scary to TEQ with 48" S5 AP3 guns.

    Yes it is poor design. There is nothing we can do about it so no use getting upset over it. This is not directed at you but for other players who do get upset over it. It's a game. We know its not a balanced list. It could be worse. You could play tyranids and not get allies and use emplaned weapons like every one else can. Many units or armies codex get shafted. At least you don't have a pyro ore ;p. It could be worse for many players.

    Enjoy the game and make the best of it. No use crying/complaint what you can't control.
    What is the most important rule? That we should do whatever the hell we want, but preferably in the best interests of Games workshop when possible? :P Ill go with that

    Personally, I like how they don't have ATSKNF. They're not cowards, but they're not going to take insane risks for their leader's schemes. Chaos Marines are sensible, Imperial Marines are brainwashed :P

    Personally, I think the Chaos Marine troops would be balanced against the new Tactical Marines if they went back to having Bolter/Bolt Pistol/CCW. Somewhat biased on that one, since I find having to make that decision/decide whether or not the variety of small knives, secondary pistols and bayonets I have on my guys as a purchased CCW is annoying :P

    ^This. I think it would be characterful too that they just walk around with an arsenal, not standard issue/bound by the quarter master. They get the job done....

    and the modelling would be fun.

    I am over griping about it and have moved onto playing Counts As with my Chaos models. You are correct make the best out of the situation and play games!

    agreed. gone are the halcyon days of Kharn dancing merrily through a whole unit all by himself. laughing with the innocent glee of a schoolgirl. now the opposing character has the option of biting the bullet and getting cutto ribbons, slowing good old Kharn down for a turn.
    I think the champions rule was poorly thought out. if GW had left it as an option it would be a little friendlier. and truthfully, the only models i WANT to turn into a DP are my Aspiring Champs: only Abbadon is immune to suddenly turning into the biggest target on the board.

    Please remember that these are still "rumours" until the codex is actually released.
