Default eldar codex warlord powers

the main 'new codex' threads are now getting very long and vague... split this one out for me...
brb says all 'warlords' roll for traits in brb.. or in their codex...
eldar codex grants all 'named' characters warlord traits... are these then ?
1] - pre-set warlord traits if you choose that 'named character' as warlord ?
2] - additional warlord traits that are 'stat lined' with the character ?

imo ... nowhere in the 'codex' is this clear and i have seen players interpreting it both ways !

If you take a named character, they have a trait. You do not roll you use that.

If you take 2 with prenamed ones, you chose which is yourwarlord and that is your trait
Autarch, Shas'o, Chaos Lord and Decadant Lord of the Webway. And a Doctor!

I don't have my eldar codex to hand, but I'm reminded of the following FAQ:

Q: If a model is listed as possessing a specific Warlord Trait in his Bestiary / Army List entries, do the effects of that Warlord Trait apply if the model is not nominated as your Warlord? (p111)
A: No.

Thus, the mere fact that a warlord trait is listed in a character's special rules does not mean that you benefit from that warlord trait. The character still has to be nominated as your warlord in order to receive the listed warlord trait.
