    Default old terrain thingies

    does anyone here remember thos old GW produced 3x3 wall bits? i think they were for necromunda, but im not certain.

    what the heck were they called and who if anybody carries them?

    They were for Necromunda, and were also used for a few 40K terrain sets. GW hasn't made them in quite a few years, but you can sometimes find lots of them on ebay and other auction sites. They were replaced by the Cities of Death building sets, which may be an alternative if you don't have to match something you already have.

    The pieces you mean are indeed from Necromunda, and essentially formed a frame of sorts for cardboard terrain.

    My brother has all the 40k kits they released for them. And boy do they show their age!

    Stick with the new stuff. It's far more flexible and hard wearing.

    I think the ebay phrase you're looking for is, "necromunda bulkhead".

    Yep they are Necromunda Bulkheads but are fiendishly expensive to find and buy.

    If you do get hold of some they fit really well with the current Cities of Death scenery - just need to cut off the connector tabs.
