Default Paperback Codex Release

Today on the White Dwarf Daily they showed off the translations of Codex: Eldar. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/wnt/blog.jsp?pid=10000032

Has anyone seen these in their local store, or know how much they are after exchange rate? I'd be certainly willing to pay less for a paperback copy of the codex, that is a bit thinner also, although I doubt we'll see it in English.

I've not seen them around here, and I've actually not heard of these before. They may be new and the paper-backs in particular may be exclusive to the smaller markets - I presume GW do keep tabs on the performance of each market. It would be cool if they were at least direct-only or something, that way for those that don't want to lug around a heavy and expensive hardback they can use a cheaper and lighter paperback for travel purposes.

I guess the smaller language markets don't justify the expense of producing hardcovers, even at GW prices? Good they are still producing them though, pity there wasn't a cheaper paperback option in English.

Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!
