Default Counter Attack and Furious Charge

Can a unit using Counter attack get the benefit of furious charge? I'm inclined to say no as counter attack says that the unit gets the bonus attack as if they had charged into combat.

No, they only get the bonus to attack. They don't get the benefit of Furious Charge.

Yeah, this has been brought up before, and that was the majority conclusion as I recall.

    No, you don't.

You are not declaring an assault. You are declaring a counter attack. Hence, no trigger for furious charge to start.
