Howdy all, after about two months of being unable to paint at least one model I've managed to almost finish the Finecast Dark Apostle model: -



I'm going for a dark and dirty look and so far I'm happy with the way this guy has turned out. All I have left to do is paint a lighter gold on and go over some of the metal areas, finish the base, paint lines onto the various strips of parchment and last of all paint on the Word Bearers symbol.

Other than that I think he'll be done.

I'm planning on giving him a unit of Cultists to lead, though I'm unsure at the moment if they'll be Melee or Ranged - perhaps give them all Mark of Khorne and go that route (30 should be good, lol)

Can happen on here. The pic needs to be bigger so that the work is a bit clearer. Otherwise it looks neat so far, but the pic needs to be clearer if you want some constructive comments.

I had a hard time trying to get good angles while not getting in the way of the light source, plus I think that while the bulb is still a white light bulb that perhaps it isn't as bright as it used to be.

Yeah that's better but still dark. Nice and neat, will be better to see when the highlights have been applied.
