About the most colour they get on them is some red lines.
The grey will look better against my GOLDEN Techmarines though.
Try a little red chapter icon or a small amount of bronze / gold on one part of the gun like the eagle. Nothing that'll break the canon, but something that will break up the transition between weapon and torso.
