Wow, excellent colour choice
I'm using the 2nd Ed Genestealer scheme myself on my own Tyranids, except I'm doing the Carapace in bone.
Bravo sir, keep up the good work and MORE pics!

I've always loved this scheme. I think you took it to a great place. It doesn't look cartoonish at all, but it's not real-world bland either.
I see what you mean about the bases. Redo them now before go any further. I'm rebasing my WHOLE army right now because I thought "Meh, I'll do it later."
Later has come.
Also, that tyrant is a beaut. It's nice to know it has that crazy metal heft I have come to fear from those beasts.
Cera cito.
The MCs are coming.
Tervigon 99%.
My converted Tyrannofex.
I wanted a standing Tyrannofex. And while he's not completely upright, I feel he came out well. There is a lot of conversion in here to make this work, so I thought I'd show off a bit of the final assembly before green stuff fills and general clean up.

I have a few updates for the thread. Sorry for the long delay.
Hive guard. I have 2 finished, one needs the hard lining. It looks a little aggressive (the hard lining) up close, but it's good on the table.

great work on the Hiveguard, he looks suitably terrorifying to come up against....

Exocrine.
I see some spots I missed touch ups on now. Will need to do that before I seal this one.
