I have to say I tend not to like cosplays with a lot of fake metal involved, they never look very real to me. if she had actual metal shredder armour that would be awesome. it is one of the reasons I dislike the Immortals film, the gods look like they are wearing gold painted plastic armour.

The problem is loads of conventions won't let you wear metal armour.

Agreed, I liked this one 'cos it's not a character I'd ever thought of gender swapping. There is some very well done armour out there that looks a lot like metal though but when it looks like painted plastic it is rather bad.
